In December of last year, the SFLNC developed a proposal to extend last call for alcohol. We brought a resolution to the San Francisco Entertainment Commission, which supported it. In January, Supervisor Aaron Peskin introduced a similar resolution to the Board of Supervisors.
The SFLNC mounted our most extensive lobbying campaign, which has resulted in over 1000 supportive emails and letters submitted to City Hall Officials. In February, the resolution passed the Board of Supervisors on an 9-2 vote and was signed by Mayor Gavin Newsom.
With this huge thumbs up from the City, Assemblymember Mark Leno introduced AB 2344, the "last Call" amendment to the State Business Code. Read the details below
